If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Introduction & Agreement

Real Facts provides a platform for contractors to review property owners, check title information, and file liens. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Not misuse, abuse, or engage in fraudulent activity within our platform.

Real Facts reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the platform means you accept any updated Terms.

2. Account Registration & Eligibility

To use certain features of Real Facts, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Register with a valid EIN (Employer Identification Number).
  • Provide accurate business and payment information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

3. Contractor Reviews & User-Generated Content

Real Facts enables contractors to submit reviews on property owners based on real experiences. By posting a review, you agree to:

  • Only submit truthful, fact-based reviews on properties where you have worked.
  • Not post defamatory, misleading, or harmful content.
  • Accept that reviews are public and may be used by others.

Real Facts reserves the right to remove or moderate any reviews that violate our policies.

4. Title & Lien Information

Real Facts provides contractors with access to property title records and lien information. By using this service, you acknowledge:

  • Title information is sourced from third-party databases and may not always be up-to-date.
  • Lien filing fees are non-refundable once a request has been processed.
  • You are responsible for ensuring all lien claims comply with state and federal laws.

Misuse of lien filing services (e.g., filing false liens) may result in account termination and potential legal consequences.

5. Payments & Subscription Fees

Real Facts offers both free and paid services.

  • One free user per EIN. Additional users require a paid subscription.
  • Accessing title & lien information requires a valid payment method.
  • Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically unless canceled.

Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Certain non-refundable charges may apply, especially for third-party services like lien filings.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Use the platform for illegal purposes or personal disputes unrelated to contracting.
  • Attempt to manipulate or remove valid lien filings.
  • Use automated bots, scraping tools, or reverse-engineering methods.

Violating these policies may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Limitation of Liability

Real Facts does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or legal validity of the information provided through third-party sources (e.g., title records, lien databases).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Real Facts is not liable for:

  • Losses, damages, or disputes arising from reliance on property information.
  • Unpaid invoices, contract breaches, or legal disputes between contractors and property owners..
  • Technical issues, outages, or cybersecurity incidents affecting the platform.

Users assume full responsibility for verifying data and seeking legal counsel when necessary.

8. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises regarding your use of Real Facts, we encourage direct resolution first. However, if necessary:

  • Disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in [State, Jurisdiction].
  • Claims cannot be pursued as a class-action lawsuit.
  • Any legal fees and associated costs are the responsibility of the filing party.
