I will start this one off by saying that I didn't give a 1 star because I should have done my due diligence. Was contacted by a man presenting himself as the homeowner and I did not confirm this. They were building a house and having problems with their GC to the point where they were contemplating tearing down the current framing. They want me to tarp the un decked house. I recommended they save the money and just tear it down if they were going that route. Probably should have had my antennas more alert after he mentioned firing the previous contractor. Long story short, they needed a temporary solution to "tarp" the roof. We used synthetic underlayment. When calling to collect a week after invoice, I'm directed to send the invoice to the homeowner and call her because she is unhappy. This is the first time I even knew that the homeowner was different and that she even existed. She didn't like the way it looked and wanted an actual tarp. I told her that the material that we used was better and would last longer because there was no time frame for their next steps. She refused to pay the agreed upon amount. I accepted half because I had no legal recourse because all my previous communications were with her non-offical representative, whom I would suspect doesn't know anything about building because he is "running" the show, but they continue to have problems. Steer clear of this situation all together
